Zhao Nengzhi’s Artwork: A Studio and Painting Experience

This App contains photographs of all Zhao Nengzhi’s artworks since 1992, including several works displayed in exhibitions worldwide and others collected by famous art institutions and private collectors.

In a series of interviews by three world-famous art critics and curators, Zhao talks about his artistic experience in detail and also his personal viewpoint on his artistic creation and concept.

The App also contains photographs of his studio in Beijing, solo exhibitions, a working snapshot in the studio and other personal photographs.

The range of Zhao’s artworks featured includes:

-contemplation penetrated in physical differences, mechanic effect, symbolic lines and even abstractive painting
-In series of Expressions, puzzling, sentiment, passivism and loneliness are presented on New Human

Zhao also draws inspiration from his abundant personal experience:

-He painted advertising boards on the street;
-He was a representative artist of ‘The Youth Cruelty Painting’;
-He held several solo or joint exhibitions in New York, Switzerland, London, Germany and Singapore.
